On the left looks to be a tar wagon and on the right a road roller.

The driver of the Steam Roller Mr Thomas, promised to give Frank Yeates the roller when he had finished with it. Frank was only 3 at the time - dating these 2 photos to 1916.

The location is likely to be in or near Clearwell?.
