"Mike Morgan is the landlord of the Butchers. Millson Dovey later married
Mike
Morgan's
daughter & they
become landord/landlady of a pub in Redbrook then later took over the the
Butcher's
after
his father in law finished".
Melvyn Jacobs added (Jan 2008): "Mr and Mrs Dovey were landlords at the Bush in Redbrook which was at the bottom of the hill from the Forest, on the corner as you turn right for Monmouth. First stop on the way home from Monmouth. Oh happy days".
