Royston Pritchard added (Feb 2006): "This appears to be the Christchurch Branch of the Church of England Men's Society. The badge on the banner confirms this. There were only two Branches of the Men and Lads that was Coleford and Broadwell. I was chairman of the Broadwell branch for a few years in the 50's" .
Pearl Ager added (April 2012): "... Royston is correct. I have just found Dad's Certificate for the Church of England Mens Society dated 6 July 1930. Christchurch Branch Diocese Gloucester. Signed Wyndham Jones President and Geo D Vanstone Hon. Secretary".
