Alan Rainey added (October 2015): "... Ossie Lucas was my grandfather. Osborne Lucas was born in Bream around 1911 and sadly passed away in 1976. He moved to Birmingham in the 1930s and met my grandmother Hilda Cope. They raised a large family: Arnold, Ray, Graham, Derek, Pamela, Wendy and Sandra. J.W. a site visitor added (January 2017): "When I attended Newnham Primary school in the late 1940s early 1950s, we used to have an annual summer walk to Bream school. I never questioned the reason. But seeing that the teacher in the photo appears to be the same Mr Billings that was headmaster at Newnham when I was there, that may well explain the affiliation".
