Gerald Cook added (Sept 2008): "With reference to the photo of a Jones holding Joan Crote.  After consulting my mother, we are 99% certain that it is her brother (my uncle) Henry Charles Jones, always known as Harry.  At that time he lived at Vine Tree Cottage.  The location of the photo is the lane going alongside Bream school".
