Grace Pritchard is pictured in V.A.D. uniform (Lydney Town Hall photos). The groom had recently returned from service with the Royal Engineers, in France, where he had been wounded. His future brother-in-law, had been nursed by his sister Grace, in Lydney Town Hall V.A.D. Hospital.
