The photo was taken outside the fomer Williams and Cotton drapery shop, - now
Farmer and Clark insurance agents. The road at this time looks to be narrower
than today with a grass verge outside the school buildings. Far left is the Chemist
shop.The ladies are part of a carnival entry on a wet day probably in the early
1950's.
