| A rare photo of what was known locally as The Tank. This was a reservoir used for cooling purposes at the Flourmill Colliery. It was a popular (though disapproved of) place to swim. This photo dates from about 1948. Brian James is sitting on the wall of the Tank. | |||||||||||||||
