Nelmes, Maureen Cole, Leslie Wildin, Terry Glastonbury. This interesting old photo probably from the mid 1960's shows the old Cricket Pavillion, the rotary Cricket Scoreboard, Bream Institute, and the single storey "Tin" building which housed 2 shops which was sited below the Rising Sun. The old grass track up to the road can be seen between the children and the thistles. The Cenotaph is just out of the picture to the right. |
