| The path shown running from Green Cottage on the right towards the front of the picture was the remains of a short-cut to the Tufts which was used to avoid paying a toll at the Pike House in the High St. To the right of the path are the rushes which colonised the depression left after the draining of the Jubilee Pool. | |||||||||
