Bream Good Companions Club on the occasion of the 75th birthday celebration
for Mr John Watts in 1965. The celebration on a wet day in 1965 involved
a large procession of transport, through the streets of Lydney with the
focal point being The Cross. The A48 which passed through Lydney at this
time and was still the main route between Wales and London was closed
for duration of the procession.
The Bream Good Companions were a club were of senior citizens of Bream. It
stopped meeting around 1970.
