Morse.

The
photo was taken outside of the stone out-building adjoining Forest View,
New Road, Bream by F.N. Jones of Coleford. The building was refered to
as "The Institute" at this time (1906) and had a snooker table
inside. It was
a meeting
place for Bream Scouts in the early 1930's. Among other things it has
been
used for dancing lessons.
Thanks to Jonathon Morse for adding: "Thomas Morse [in the back row
at the right] (1847-1913) was a Free-Miner, mill owner and Landlord of
the Rising Sun ..1876.. He
can
also be
seen on the picture of the Free Miners hanging in the Speech House"..."After
more research I am 99.9% sure that the gentleman seated on the left hand
side of the photo wearing a bowler hat is my grandfather Thomas Morse born
1873 and he died one year after this picture in 1907. He is the son of
Thomas Morse satnding far right."
Thanks to Charles Watkins for adding (Feb 2009): "The gentleman seated in the centre of the picture wearing a dark tie is my grandfather Fred Watkins".
