Coop Mobile Butcher (1963-64)
Roger wrote (Aug 2007): "The young man in the photo is Graham Sandford who was Butchers Shop Manager. Taken at the back of Yorkley Coop, the van was manned by Ken James and Roger Akers. Roger recalls that Silver or Topside was 6/6d per lb, Rump Steak 6/8d per lb and a leg of Lamb was 4/- per lb".
6/6d = 32.5p, 4/- = 20p .
