Whitecroft
RFC 1913 - 1914 Mark added (December 2007): "The two Rudge's in the photograph are distant
cousins of mine. William Rudge in the back row was the son of John Rudge
and
Naomi
Saunders
of
Whitecroft. John is the Veap Rudge mentioned in Alfred
Harris' journal that is mentioned on your website and he was
killed in a mining accident on the 23rd February 1887 at Trevethin, Abersychan,
Monmouth. I don't know how
he came to be nick named Veap. |
