The nearest shop is Whitecroft Wool Shop.

A site visitor added: "... the wool shop was originally owned and run by Mrs.James and the sweet shop next door by Mrs. Winnie Smith".

Allison Gardner added: (April 2011): "The little sweet shop was run by my Auntie Win and the general store was at one time run by my grandparents Alan and Gert Thomas and the Barber shop was run by my other grandad Alec Reid".

Paul Sims added (Feb 2012): "... Winnie Smith's shop...that takes me back. I used to get pineapple chunks there for sixpence when I lived in Park Hill during the late 1960s".
