Anita wrote: "... This is I believe, a photo of Ruardean Rugby Football Club 1918-19. My grandfather is pictured fourth from the left on the back row and I think, was a trainer at this time. His name was Jim Wood (Frederick James Wood). He was born in Walford in 1881, but lived most of his life around Ruardean and Cinderford working as a miner. His parents were Alfred Wood from Ruardean and Ellen J Wood nee Prew who was born in Cheltenham. Ellen was a sister of Frances Prew who married John Thomas Davies".
