Phil wrote: "My father Wilf Hudson at work as a Rollerman. The photograph was featured in the Birmingham Post in december 1961. The article reported on the closure of the Tinworks".
"The Rollerman and his Doubler partner were the highest paid workers in the Tinworks. The work was physically demanding and paid on performance. The weight of the sheets being worked on whilst straight out of the furnace made for tough tough working conditions".
