Trev. Miles added (July 2011): "... You won the league that season. What memories of our games against you and a wonderful evening at The Fountain. Trev and many others still meeting up from Rangers Athletic".
Rob Gardiner added (July 2011): "... Following on from Trev's comments this photo is of the newly reformed Parkend AFC who played in Division 3 of the North Glos League in 1966/67 and won the League with 23 wins 4 draws and only 3 defeats. The team did not lose any home league games but suffered away defeats at Rangers Athletic 3-0 my team, at Blakeney 4-2 and Ruspidge Welfare 6-2! We had many tremendous matches with Parkend and many fond memories. Rob Gardiner, Rangers Athletic Captain 1965-1967".
