Lee Morgan of The Row adds : 2, The Row,
is situated in the terrace houses at the bottom of this picture. These
houses are hundreds of years old and belonged to the miners who lived
in these houses once apon a time. They are now happily converted and
people like myself live in them.
A descendant of Mirian James added : The third house down was inhabited around 1910-15 by Miriam James and her 8 children. Her husband James James had died leaving her with this large family, my Mother Florence being one of them. They lived there with Grandma who was a saint and helped bring them up .
