Anne Dobbs (nee McOwan) added (August 2006) "Daisy Hughes is the girl in the trolley pushed by her sister Lillian The man on the stool is Jacob Hughes (father) next to his son, Harold. The woman sat by water butt is Clara Hughes (mother), son is Esau on her knee. Factory Cottages were by Pidcocks Canal (iron ore from the Forge to the Docks). Daisy was my grandmother." Daisy was born in 1898, dating this photo close to 1900. . |
