from 1955 and knew some of the people in the photo. I'm pretty sure that
is Mrs. Parton on the left, not Miss Roberts, who came during my time here
(i.e., somewhere around 1958-60 and later than the date of the photo).
Also, the head mistress was Mrs Stephenson".
David Winn added (August 2010): "... Teachers of her (Mrs Stephenson) standing were and are few and far between. I will always be grateful to her.... If anyone knows what happened to her after Primrose Hill I'd be interested in finding out".
