"Back row about no 8, smiling broadly with dark hair - Albert the Chief Super. in Glos. so this can be confirmed. Also his wife standing in front is Eileen Viner.
In the far right corner Alma Brain is in floral dress and behind her Lionel Brain her husband wearing glasses. Lionel Brain is my Mother's first cousin and the Viners were their friends".
Alec Willis added (May 2010): " ... The lady 2 people in and 3 back on left hand side is Mrs Rita Rice nee Willis District nurse probably better known as the nit nurse by local kids".
