Leonard James Powell
Born in Llanelli in 1911, Leonard James Powell, moved to Lydney as a child with his family. In the 1920's he worked aboard the Garlandstone, a ketch which had connections with Lydney Docks. He also worked aboard other vessels including the Black Dwarf. He is pictured aboard one of the vessels on which he worked.
