Frank Dixon, first headmaster of Lydney Grammar School, photographed in 1920.
Tony Arnold added (November 2009): "... have discovered that my maternal grandmother K.M. Reid taught at the school, from 1913-1915. Her testimonial for her next post was written by this man and we have the original. I don't think she is in any of the photos though here. She was in charge of History".
