This photo was probably taken at the Miners Arms, Whitecroft.

The 1907 - 1908 season, Whitecroft won the Gloucestershire Junior Cup (Northern Division). The players look to be wearing their winner's medals

Nicola Anderson added (February 2017): "... G Dobbs was my grandfather. Would love to see photos of the Dobbs/Hempstalk family of Whitecroft. There don't appear to be many surviving in the family. From the 14 children that George and his wife Bella had there are still three remaining all in their 90's, my mother Ruby will be 99 years young in March".
