Olivia wrote: "... The attached is a photo of a VJ. Party, 1945 for the children of Tutalls, Lydney, held in the then Playing Field (now covered by flats and houses). This is opposite the then Post Office in Mount Pleasant ,Lydney".
Mrs Eileen Newman added (Feb 2012): "... the little girl on the front table to the left of the union flag is me Eileen Raines daughter of Gladys Miles of Tutnalls Street. The little boy to her left is Michael Spillane son of Irene Miles of Tutnall Street. To his left is Donald Green son Florence Miles of Tutnalls Street. Any further information regarding the Miles Family of Tutnalls Street Lydney I would be glad to pass on if within my knowledge. p.s I still live in Tutnalls Street".
