George wrote: "... Lydney C. of E. School in Church Road, Lydney in the early 1900s. I can only date the photos approximately based on the date of birth of my relatives and their apparent age in the photos. Picture 02 (above) is about 1922 and my mother, Lilian Pyart (born 1916), is second left in the front row. John Allsopp is fourth from the right in the back row".
Hazel Isles added (May 2012): "... The young girl in the front row far right is my mother-in-law. She was born Irene Phillips in 1914 in Lydney".
