John Edwards added: Another Landlord of
the Bridge in the 1940s was Mr Hyde,whose daughter Barbara still lives
locally.
His son Derek is a musician who lives in Kent.
David Dunn added: "other landlords
at the Bridge Inn in approximate chronological order were Sunny Hyde,
Bert Coles, then George Potter,
Dick and
Mary Blake (later steward at Bream Rugby Club), Lew Gorin (not sure of
spellng) and the last one when it closed was Derek and Barbra Gardener".
