Terry wrote: "... this area seems to have been a dumping ground for a large number of the concrete lintels these were placed on the ground and and then the weapons usually ... shells in wooden crates were stacked on top. The lintels would keep the ordnace off the damp ground, ... on further inspection of the site we found casings from ... shells and the tail fins".
