Stephen Daly added (December 2009): "... The houses in the background indicate that this is the sports ground off the Causeway, Cinderford which the school switched to after years of utilising the fields off the top of St White's Road. The latter would only have hedges and a few trees in the background".

John Phillips added (August 2011): "... Sorry to disagree with Steven, but this was not the sports field off The Causeway. The houses in the background are in Belle Vue Road where Harry Beddington lived. This particular year Sports day was held on the dare I say it Double View playing field".
