Top Photo, Gill Wrote: "This photograph was taken at the 1952 Coleford Chrysanthemum Show when my Father won the cup for the most points.

the prizes) Mr.A.F.Fowler of Coleford. Mr W.Davey of Bream. and Mr Reuben
Nash (Chairman of the Society)".
Bottom photo, "Another photograph taken at the Coleford Chrysanthemum Show. The year is 1959 and the people admiring the blooms are-
L.to R. Mr Harry J Walker (Chairman) Mr Fred Fowler (Treasurer) Mr Charles and Mrs May Loughlin ( Labour M.P. for the area) and Mr Arnold of Bream".
Gill added (December 2009): "... I remember Mr Nash as the proprieter of a newspaper and book shop in the building which is now called the Red Lion where Market Place joins Newland St".
