Derek recalls that the occasion was a meeting of 1st Sling Scouts with Bream Scouts, in Bream, sometime in the 1950s.
Gerald Dowle who was Patrol Leader at the time recalled (October 2006): ".. the occasion was a Bream Scouts Harvest Festival at the Green Hut in Bream. Mrs Williams, grandmother of Errol and Steve came to ralk about her life in India. Bream Scouts later disbanded and became Sling Scouts".
