members of Coleford W.I. (Womens Institute) and Bilson W.I."
Ruth Howes added (August 2010): "... The matron in the front row is I believe my mother Mrs Winifred Kirby. I have a photo of her in this costume in a Cinderford W.I. production. She was not a nurse".
Simon Wood added (November 2011): "... The Matron No. 61 is definetly Miss Dorothy Pirie. Miss Pirie was a great friend of my Mother Nurse Gittings and we were in contact years after she retired and met her years ago in Brighton where she had retired too".
