wrote (Jan 2007): The picture was taken about 1927 in Cinderford. The
bride and groom are my
Aunt, Miss Beatrice Martin of Cinderford and Mr. Alfred Storey of Cumberland,
which I believe is now Cumbria. The best man is Mr. Ray Capener on the
left of the bridegroom (the tallest man) and the little girl is Betty
Martin of Cinderford, niece of the bride, whose father was Mr. Ernest
Martin. He had a gents' outfitters shop on the corner of Wesley Road
and High Street and sold it to Hodges Gents Outfitters later on. Mrs Storey
