| The
man in the photo is Mr F Charles of Broadwell Lane End. The young lady
holding the baby (Maurice Charles) is Miriam Charles and the little girl
on the wall is Elsie Charles. The photo dates from Autumn 1931. The cottage in the photo is the last one on the left, going from Broadwell to Coleford, just before "The Field" bungalow. It's been extended (both ends) and now looks nothing like the original building. |
