back of one of the photos is dated 23-1-1926 and has a return address
to a Jm? W? Morgan?, Worrall Hill, Lydbrook, Nr Ross. We're not sure who is in the photos but we do know that Gerald's grandfather moved to the Forest from Chester & lived for a while at Lower Perrygrove. He had a connection with a man named Payne who owned quarries in The Futtrel (Fetter Hill). Gerald's father lived at Marsh Lane, Sling. Thanks also to Ivor Ellis. |
