Central Stores, Bream c1960
John wrote (Sept 2007): "I forward this photograph of my mother Mrs Eunice Hawkins (Right) and her mother Mrs Florence Mountjoy, in my mother's shop, (now) "Central Stores", High Street, Bream. My mother owned and ran the business from about 1953 until the latter part of the 1960's".

John's photo shows a very rare shot of the inside of a village shop before the arrival of Supermarkets.
