Colin added (July 2007): "R ( Dicky ) Etheridge was the player manager. He was previously with Gloucester City, and was the first paid player in Bream's history as far as I am aware. The previous season we had a manager who was also paid. His name was Humpstead I think, but he never played. Dicky was the brother of Bobby who played both soccer for Bristol Rovers and Cricket for Gloucestershire, he was later well known in the sport of Bowls which he played to a very high level. He sadly died in his fifties".

The league results included a 12-1

were
put past the unfortunate Stonehouse team in the home fixture.
Bream's record that season was:
Played 30, Won 27, Drawn 1, Lost 2, Goals For 162, Goals Against 34, Points 55.
The shirts were blue and white stripes. Colin scored 56 of the 162 goals.
